This bag is a semi-rigid bucket bag it is made with Italian vegetable tanned leather. Leather is a waste of the food industry and is recycled and ennobled by the tanning industry. The leather tanning is certainly one of the oldest activities of man. Since prehistoric times man has understood that the skin of the animals he hunted should not be discarded, but worked as a protection against atmospheric agents. Naturally, the tanning process has undergone many changes from prehistory to the present, especially from the twentieth century, when industrialization and new machinery allowed a development in the search for more specific and less polluting chemical products and a development in machinery useful for tanning. From waste it becomes a noble material. This ancient tanning that uses only natural products (tannin) is unique in the world and still never reproduced. The articles made with this leather have the characteristic of aging with time, acquiring more and more charm every day. The first aging was made by us, applying various waxes and other natural products, whose formula is secret. After the cut and the seam, the bag is dipped in color baths, this process allows the colors to penetrate deep into the leather for a more intense aesthetic effect and for a greater durability. They are then left to dry the natural way. In the front part of the bag, small silver and gold colored zama studs were applied. The shoulder strap is adjustable. The main closure is with zip. The inside of the bag is lined in fabric (cotton). Inside the bag there is a small pocket closed with a zip.
