The “Stampata” semi-rigid bucket bag is made with vegetable-tanned cow leather, NO CHROME. The tanning serves to stop the organic decline of the leather, giving it shelf life and durability. Its process is slow, traditionally carried out by immersion with the vegetable tannins obtained from the barks of mimosa, chestnut and oak, it is more laborious, longer and more expensive; but it produces a leather that is not only completely hypoallergenic, but healthy and better for everyone, starting from children and adults up to the elderly. The leather is worked in a completely non-toxic and natural way, and not finished with patinas or varnishes, it can really wrap us like an ideal glove inside, completely compatible with our own skin. After cutting and sewing, the bag is immersed in colored baths, or defined as “garment dye”, in this way the colors penetrate deeper, giving the leather its intense color. After dyeing it is left to dry naturally, without the aid of artificial heat sources. The texture is printed with embossed floral motif, in the center of the bag, in the front part, an oval shaped section has been created with the application of turquoise resin stones and small silver-colored metal studs. The bag is equipped with a semi-rigid short handle (hand bag) and adjustable and removable shoulder strap with practical silver-plated oval-shaped carabiners that can be opened easily. The main closure is with high quality metal zip. The interior is entirely lined in fabric (cotton). Internal pocket with zip. Made in Italy.
